Microsoft Power Apps

Microsoft PowerApps is a tool set that allows us to create and deploy tailored business applications which can be published to Microsoft Teams, desktop and mobile devices. Whilst we can develop within PowerApps in a no-code environment, for more technical users, we are able to extend capabilities by using Azure functions or creating custom connectors and more integrated solutions.

The applications created within PowerApps can be used to target a whole host of business pain points and help you streamline your internal and citizen and stakeholders facing business processes. Apps can be created for almost any purpose, such as a simple citizen and stakeholders on-boarding process or a mobile surveying app. You are only limited by your imagination.

Data from the Dataverse can be seamlessly connected, as well as data from the 200+ different additional connectors that are available, ensuring your applications are driven by the business data you need.

Microsoft Power Automate is a tool set that we use to configure business workflow automation.

Workflows can be used to drive efficiency, productivity and innovate a whole variety of business functions, automating repeatable business processes and keeping you informed when you need to be. Microsoft Power Automate works by monitoring trigger point within a business process and then automating subsequent actions to follow.

There are many different uses for Microsoft Power Automate that can help your organisation work better, through simple tasks such as creating a workflow that automatically sends an email notification for approval once an application has been created or saving documents to shared storage and linking back to Citizen and Stakeholders records in business application like Dynamics 365.

Microsoft Power BI is a business analytics tool that enables organisations to drive business value from their data.

Power BI replaces the spreadsheets and disparate data sources, silos and duplicate information that tend to grow throughout an organisation over time. The tool can connect seamlessly to many different data sources, including the Dataverse, relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, unstructured data such as documents and business applications such as Dynamics 365.

With data correctly stored in its originating application data store, this “sole source of truth” can build insightful analytics and dashboards that drive informed decision making and management intelligence.
