The Situation
As NMBI continued to grow and evolve, its existing registration platform no longer provided the flexibility or scalability needed to support new ways of working. The
organisation was ready to enhance the registrant experience, accelerate registration timelines, and unlock greater value from its data. The organisation set out to create the Next Generation MyNMBI, a modernised,
intuitive, and data-driven registration platform.
The CloudSource Approach
Our approach combined Agile Scrum for rapid mobilisation with a robust governance framework ensuring control over cost, scope, resources, and planning. We operated with a ‘One Team’ mindset, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing throughout the lifecycle.
Our solution is a modern, integrated, flexible and future-ready platform built on Microsoft technologies to support NMBI's registration and regulatory processes. At its core is Dynamics 365, providing a secure, scalable registration management system, complemented by Power Pages portals that enable registrants, Higher Education Institutions, and employers to interact seamlessly online. It combines strong governance, automation, and identity management to deliver a reliable, user-friendly experience while supporting NMBI’s long-term digital transformation goals.
Outcomes
A transformative 18-month partnership has delivered undeniable results. The registrants now benefit from a first-class digital service that significantly reduces the effort required for registrations and restoration applications. This shift has not only improved the experience for healthcare professionals but also freed up internal teams, allowing the NMBI team to focus on strategic priorities rather than administrative burdens.
Data has now become a powerful enabler. With deep insights into the registration pipeline, NMBI can proactively plan and drive continuous improvement, delivering better outcomes for registrants and the public.
The platform is now a cornerstone of the organisational strategy. Beyond operational efficiency, the technology has positioned NMBI as a forward-thinking regulator committed to innovation and excellence, setting the stage for future enhancements that will continue to strengthen the healthcare ecosystem.
Before this project, our processes required a lot of manual intervention. We relied heavily on exporting Excel spreadsheets, performing calculations to extract meaningful insights. It was time-consuming and dependent on offline support, with data coming from multiple entities.
After the project, everything changed. With improved data quality and accessibility, teams can now make faster and more informed decisions in their day-to-day work.
